⚭ Founders + Teams ⚭

Founding or leading something meaningful asks a lot of a human,

And of the humans who help them...

The group includes white people and a mixed-race person, with a range of styles including a rainbow pride t-shirt and blue-tipped hair, reflecting a warm and diverse gathering.

There is Creation. Responsibility. Decision making. Pressure. Growth. The Bottom Line. And then there’s the weight of knowing that other people’s work, income and wellbeing are connected to the choices you make.

As the work expands, more people are held within that space. Teams grow, client numbers increase, programmes deepen, and the amount that needs holding expands.

There are often very few places where a Founder can speak honestly about what leadership, and their business, is really asking of them.

Most leadership support appears once things are already stretched; at the point of burnout, pressure, overwhelm.

The work I offer can help address this, yes.

But at its heart it’s fundamentally different.

My work is about consistent, ongoing support that helps Founders and their people stay well, resourced, and clear as the work grows.

I work with Founders and their teams when they are building businesses and holding spaces that ask a lot of people. That might be:

  • Masterminds

  • Programmes

  • Community containers

  • Growing teams

When these spaces are expanding, people are often stretching (and feeling stretched) at the same time. Founders are carrying more responsibility. Teams are adjusting to new expectations. Collectively, people are experiencing challenge and growth.

Without the right support, that pressure can quietly turn into overwhelm, shutdown or disengagement.

My role is to help Founders and their teams navigate this well, so growth strengthens the work rather than exhausting the people inside it.

Sometimes that means supporting the Founder. Sometimes it means supporting the team.

Often it means quietly tracking the health of the whole space.

A note:

I am an actively inclusive business owner who strongly values diversity

I only work with Founders and organisations who welcome ALL souls irrespective of gender, identity, disability, neurodivergence, and who consistently work to promote inclusive working cultures

I have a zero-tolerance position on hate, bullying or discrimination of any kind

If this doesn’t resonate with you, then we will not be a good fit

When is the ‘right’ time?

The starting point for this work varies.

Sometimes it is the Founder themselves who reaches out. They can feel the pace of growth increasing and want to ensure they stay clear and resourced as the work expands.

Sometimes the team recognises that the work is growing faster than the support around them.

And sometimes there is simply the recognition that meaningful work is easier to lead when the humans involved are being actively supported.

In all of these situations the intention is the same:

To ensure the people doing the work, and the people being led within it, are supported well enough for growth to remain healthy, sustainable and worthwhile.

How I Support Founders and Their Teams

In practice this work often includes:

  • Noticing when pressure or activation is building within a group and helping people stay present rather than overwhelmed.

  • Creating space for learning, challenge and growth to be properly integrated rather than rushed through.

  • Supporting Founders to stay resourced and clear while leading others through expansion.

  • Tracking and responding to group dynamics so the space remains healthy, honest and supportive for everyone involved.

Small adjustments made early, prevent much bigger problems later.

"I personally found it very interesting and it highlighted to me how important it is to discuss these issues as clearly they had not been discussed before within the team. I felt your honest and open approach really helped us all to open up and have some good discussions. I am looking forward to speaking about it more in individual supervisions"

Ways We Might Work Together

Every Founder, team and organisation is different, so this work has to be shaped collaboratively.

Examples include:

  • Support within masterminds or leadership programmes

  • Energetic and nervous system support for group containers

  • Founder support during periods of growth or transition

  • Team or leadership retreats

  • In-person or online group support sessions

Investment

Support for Founders and their teams is shaped around the size, scope and nature of the work.

Prices begin from £222 per month, for retainer-based one-to-one Founder support.

The work you are leading matters.

When Founders and their teams are well supported, people stay engaged, present and able to grow in meaningful ways.

My role is to help ensure that happens in a way that is sustainable for everyone involved.

If you feel this kind of support could strengthen you and your team, please let’s talk about it. It’s still shockingly rare for Founders to embed this type of support into their infrastructure, and the ‘how’ we do that is best met through direct conversation.
